"In January 2009, we discovered Norske Farms.  We immediately contacted them & met our little Elkie.  The Carlson family were a joy to work with & kept us up to date on how our little one was doing before we adopted her.  In February, we adopted a beautiful little female Elkhound, now named Serenity.

Their facility is very impressive...very neat, clean and well maintained.  It is easy to see that these dogs are members of the Carlson family.  We would certainly recommend Norske Farms to anyone who is looking for an elkhound.

We found Kari and Rod to be very accommodating as we visited to look at the puppies as well as arrangements for pick up and they promptly responded to all the questions we had. "We lost our first Norwegian Elkhound a year before we found Norske Farms. We live in Florida so we didn’t how it would work getting a puppy all the way from Iowa. Kari was great to work with. We picked the time frame that would work for us to get a puppy. She told us who the mother and father would be and showed us pictures of them. After the puppies were born, we saw them on video. Then we picked the one that we wanted. Nori had to be flown from Iowa to Florida. We drove a few hours to the airport that was best for him to fly into. He was safe and sound and glad to see his new owners. We were very pleased with the service we got from Norske Farms and with our new lively puppy."
